Nationally Recognised Training delivered by industry experts to safely operate a boom-type Elevating Work Platform (EWP) where the length of the boom is 11 metres or more. SafeWork NSW approved training.

SafeWork NSW HRW Licence Assessment, included on 3rd day of course.

Course Requirements

Please read all requirements before enrolling.

You must be 18 years or older

You must present 100 points of ORIGINAL ID to the trainer on the day. No Exceptions.

You must provide a USI number with your enrolment. www.usi.gov.au 

You must wear appropriate clothing (High vis long sleeve) and work boots.

Course overview

  • Plan, Prepare and perform work tasks with an elevated work platform
  • Pack up and secure a elevated work platform

To operate a boom type elevating work platform with a boom greater than 11 metre in length you must hold a High-Risk Work (HRW) Licence - WP. In this course you will learn skills to plan, conduct routine checks, set up, operate and shutdown an EWP.

Our Trainers will guide you through the theory component of the Course and allow you plenty of time to practice your forklift driving skills before assessment by a SafeWork NSW Accredited Assessor on Day 3 of the Course.

3 Day Course Includes:  2 days of theory & practical training. Day 3 is SafeWork NSW licence assessment.

Unit of Competency

On successful completion you will obtain:

2 days training, successful completion results in Nationally Recognised Unit of Competency, TLILIC0005 Licence to Operate a boom type elevated work platform (boom length 11 meters or more).

Day 3 SafeWork assessment, successful completion results in SafeWork NSW HRW Licence. This assessment is conducted by a SafeWork NSW assessor.

Effective 7th May, SafeWork NSW will be introducing a new online process for High Risk Work (HRW) Assessments.

🔹 What This Means for You:
All students undertaking a HRW Assessment will now be required to register via their Service NSW account.

🔹 Action Required:
Before your scheduled assessment, please ensure you:

  1. Have a Service NSW account.

  2. Follow the new online registration steps.
